A special program focus is our dual language immersion program for primary-grade students in pre-kindergarten, through fifth grade. We believe that Foreign Languages, Art, and Music are critical subjects for developing well-rounded, creative, thoughtful, and intelligent children.

We believe that students should be taught to think independently, accept responsibility, and approach school and life with a positive attitude. Our educational program provides opportunities for each child to develop emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually at his/her developmental level. We value each child as an individual capable of great talent and learning.

The program includes the mastery of basic educational skills, the acquisition of a foreign language and the development of each child's unique talents, and the development of character with an appreciation for self, family, community, and the world. Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy Public Charter School will provide skilled, highly qualified teachers, good facilities, and excellent teaching and learning experiences.

We strongly believe that families are important to the educational process and that parents are very important to children achieving their maximum potential. The school’s task is either strengthened or weakened by the level of parent involvement; therefore, we have a very strong parent and community involvement component that assists us in meeting the total needs of the child.
