Attendance Matters! Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Good attendance will help children do well in high school, college, and at work.
*EPI PEN Recall* There has been a voluntary recall of 13 lots of Mylan Epipens® and Epipen® Jrs (epinephrine auto-injectors). According to the Food and Drug Administration, this recall is due to the potential that these devices may contain a defective part that may result in the devices failure to activate, resulting in the improper release of medication.

Swim Lessons for MMBDA Students! Serve Your City, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the Nation’s Capital, mobilizes volunteers from DC-based universities, student organizations, young professional groups and community supporters to train and supervise students in tutoring, rowing, tennis and aquatics activities. **Registration is closed for the current winter session, and details for the next session will be sent home in December.**
