My Afterschool DC (MADC) is a new initiative stemming from Mayor Bowser's goal of Afterschool for All. The vision for MADC is that all children, youth, and families across the District of Columbia have knowledge of and access to an increased number of high-quality OST programs through the MADC portal. The Parent Advisory Group will consist of DC parents who will serve as “internal testers” for the MADC portal. Parents/caregivers will be debriefed on build-out updates, including design, access site navigability, and functionality. The group will also support the amplification of the initiative through parent community engagement in their schools and neighborhoods.
